Краткая биографическая справка:

Закончила бакалаврскую программу в Департаменте сравнительного изучения религий Гарвардского университета. Затем защитила магистерскую и докторскую (PhD) диссертации по византинистике в Университете Бирмингема (Англия).

С 1984 г. последовательно преподавала в Queen's University (Белфаст), King's College (Лондон), Университете Бирмингема.

В 2006 г. стала преподавателем Департамента теологии и религиозных исследований в Университете Ноттингема, где преподает до сих пор.

Руководит докторскими по патристике и истории Древней Церкви.
